N/N Leek Road

  • A fine stone-built inn with history from 1647 when it opened during the English Civil War. Some very curious paranormal activity has taken place here and been investigated by a psychic team. In answer to knocking questions, they have captured disembodied voices on their recording equipment and employees have reported seeing floating black shadows and small items navigating themselves across tables and worktops. Phantoms which appear include a young girl dancing by the fireplace and a grinning old man without dentures sitting in a corner. However, here it takes a most curious twist as there seems to be a ghost-in-charge. During one investigation, this ghost made it clear to the psychic group that there were three other ghosts there but he was the spokesperson and if they tried to raise the others he would close the place down.
