Money Row Green, Holyport, Maidenhead, Berkshire

  • At this four centuries old inn, there has frequently, witnesses saw, the ghost of a young woman holding the hand of a small lad. There appears to be no history or account behind her appearances, with both are dressed in the fashion of the early 1920s. Before they appear, there is sound of knocking. Then one hears footsteps on the staircase. Outside the pub, a racehorse that reports say expired in a road accident many years ago haunts the road. Witnesses have not seen the ghost often. However, occasionally one may hear it galloping along with whinnying. That horse was the phantom of Kaiser, from the early 1900s.
