  • With history as a building to 1665, an inn has stood on this site since 1771. It was at one time, the building of the Shambles Inn at Chester, until that was dismantled, transported to Manchester, with reassembled in its present form in 1928. The Shakespeare exhibits ghostly manifestations. these include the ghost of a young girl, who died in the last century. She had been beaten and raped by the chef, with died from her injuries.
