  • Originally, the building of this old inn people used as a hunting lodge by Elizabeth 1 and her courtiers. It exhibits ghostly manifestations. these include several ghosts. However, the most active seems to be the Lady in Grey. When she manifests, she is clothed in an Elizabethan style of dress in faded grey. However, , people have claimed, to appear nothing resembling the portraits of Queen Elizabeth. The Angles are , locals knew, to have settled Tewin in AD 449. The name being a derivative of the Old English words for the Norse god Tyr (Tiw) and meadow (Ing).
