  • There is nothing very like a returning proprietor to liven up present staff. Peggy Bray was a previous proprietor of the Kings Head at Altarnun and she frequents it still. One can most as often as possible hear her apparition strolling in the hall on the first floor. Locals think she strolls around the building to guarantee that the proprietor runs the business appropriately. A few guests have said they feel a spooky chill close to the entryway, half path along the way. This pub has history from 1623. It was an arranging post for mentors. It was a revitalizing point for Cavaliers with Roundheads amid the English Civil War. Previously, proprietors have called it the Indian Queen and the London Inn.
