It is a sixteenth century thatched inn constructed of cob. This was a neighbourhood system for building called 'cobbing'. Here, locals blended stones with mud and straw for the structure. It shows spooky indications. These incorporate an old woman. She was a previous proprietor. She constantly shows up in one of the bars. She sits at a window seat and weaves. She was proprietor of the pub in the 1920s.
