Coney Lane, Keighley, West Yorkshire

  • A couple of curious ghosts make their frequent appearances at the Cricketers Arms. Over the years, proprietors have seen the ghost of a man wearing a flat tweed cap immediately outside the front door. At other times, the second ghost makes his appearance within the pub. Observers describe him as sitting at a table, with a bicycle parked up alongside him. At the nearby Market Cross, a young woman and her two children were whipped to death over two centuries ago. All three still haunt the area, appearing as dark wraiths. Many years ago, there was a secretive satanic cult in Keighley that raised demons. Many believe it is still said to be abroad in the town.
