  • The devil in the eleventh century had invented a cunning plot to capture the good people of this city. He had hoped to encourage people to down a hole into hell. However, the good St. Michael thwarted his evil plan. He put boulder over this passage, discovered this. Thus, locals knew the town as Hells-stone. At this small town bar, there were murder victims. From time to time, an old woman in a wheelchair makes his ghostly appearance. Cornish anglers had a spirit they called Bucca. They left a fish on the sand for him. They threw a piece of bread over the left shoulder at lunchtime fate.
